Ms. Roman’s passion for early education began through volunteering with children and years of hands-on experience as a preschool teacher across multiple age groups, leading her into leadership. Today, she supports classroom teams and families to create a warm, developmentally strong learning environment for every child.

Shakira believes early education should be safe, joyful, and connection-centered—where children are making core memories and learning naturally. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, art, games, and time outdoors, interests that reflect the heart of Little Explorers Preschool.
